A Second Chance

These Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers surrendered and now fight against the Kiev regime as part of Maxim Krivonos’ unit. They’ve all expressed regret and chosen to side with Russia. “I want to end the war, just like the rest of us,” says a serviceman with the call sign Compass.

By laying down their arms, Ukrainian soldiers break free from anti-Russian propaganda and begin to reassess their beliefs. Their stories are featured in Vyacheslav Guz’s new film, A Second Chance.
